Responsibilities

Position Profile: Inventory/Material Control Clerk
Triumph Title: Inventory/Material Control Clerk 3 
FLSA: Nonexempt
Reports to: Manager, Planning and Materials

Summary  
Maintains and issues material in the stockroom.

Essential Functions
•    Conducts all operating system transactions for all material receipts and issues of material into and out of the Parts Integrity Area (PIA).
•    Receive material from incoming inspection or SIDA suppliers into the stockroom. 
•    Pull material for Assembly jobs, including stack-up, from PIA based on the pull list provided by Production Control.
•    Fill backorders for material shortages to job pulls once material is available.
•    Deliver material to appropriate area that was over issued or used for production returns.
•    Issue material for engineering requests per Production Control.
•    Performs daily cycle counts.
•    Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook.
•    Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements
•    Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.

Competencies
•    Read, write legibly, and understand English
•    Ability to perform simple math calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
•    Perform basic computer skills, such as open and save files along with basic data entry.
•    Understand basic terminology used in the job functional area.

Qualifications

Supervisory responsibility
The Inventory/Material Control Clerk role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required education, certification, and experience
•    High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.  

Physical demands
•    May require lifting, pulling and carrying up to forty (40) pounds
•    Frequent bending, climbing stairs, and reaching
•    Sitting for up to twelve (12) hours per day, standing up to twelve (12) hours per day, or a combination of sitting and standing. 
•    Near vision of 20/25 (Snellen) at 16 inches (42 cm) +/- 1 inch (2.54 cm) in at least one eye, natural or corrected and/or Jaeger No. 1 not less than 12 inches (30 cm) in at least one eye, natural or corrected.

Work Authorization
Must meet ITAR requirements.
