Position Summary:

The Audiovisual (AV) Technician - II is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems that support a variety of business functions. This role ensures the seamless operation of AV equipment used for meetings, conferences, and digital communications. The technician works closely with clients and team members to assess AV needs and deliver reliable, high-quality installations and support.

Key responsibilities include setting up and maintaining 70V PA systems, TV/RF distribution systems, and digital signage. The Audiovisual (AV) Technician - II plays a vital role in creating engaging and professional environments for end users, contributing to the overall success of AV operations and client satisfaction.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Associate’s degree or certifications (CTS, AVIXA)
  • 2+ years of hands-on AV installation and support experience
  • Familiarity with Extron, Crestron, and Biamp systems preferred
  • Experience with video conferencing platforms and event production
  • Knowledge of lighting and staging setups
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and operating AV systems (projectors, microphones, sound systems)


Responsibilities:

  • Install, operate, and support AV equipment for meetings, conferences, and events
  • Perform system diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
  • Collaborate with clients and teams to understand and meet AV requirements
  • Set up and configure 70V PA systems, RF/TV distribution, and digital signage
  • Document equipment usage, configurations, and maintenance activities
  • Mentor junior technicians and share best practices
