Legal Assistant - Temporary

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is a national law firm with a proven reputation for providing progressive, industry-leading legal, business, regulatory and government relations advice to our regional, national and international clients.

We are currently searching for an experienced Legal Assistant (Practice Assistant) to provide temporary support for attorneys in our San Diego office.

Hybrid work schedules available for this role!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
• Manage calendars, appointments, and meetings
• Prepare legal documents and correspondence
• Assist with filing, scanning, and document management
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Three (3) or more years of experience as a legal assistant or secretary in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government entity
• A high school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
