SUMMARY:

The Product Imaging & Graphic Content Specialist will be a creative, detail-driven, and highly skilled individual to lead the development and execution of all product imagery and supporting content/ graphic needs. This critical role will directly support our products presence across e-commerce, digital platforms, and customer-facing materials by ensuring every image tells a story of quality, clarity, and consistency.

This individual will own the entire product image lifecycle—from photography to final post-production—while applying deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite to enhance visual appeal and maintain brand alignment. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and content teams to produce assets that meet e-commerce best practices and drive customer engagement.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Photography & Image Production
    • Shoot and edit high-quality, detailed product photography for all products
    • Ensure all product images meet internal brand standards and platform-specific image requirements (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).
    • Keep all images organized and maintained in DAM/ PIM system.
  • Graphic Design & Creative Development
    • Design supporting graphics for product launches, web pages, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
    • Develop enhanced product images, lifestyle overlays, and infographics that boost digital storytelling.
    • Maintain consistency in tone, color, and layout across all digital and print creative assets.
  • E-Commerce Image Strategy
    • Stay current on trends and evolving best practices in e-commerce photography and image presentation.
    • Develop templates and processes that streamline product imaging and improve time-to-market.
    • Partner with digital marketing teams to test and refine imagery for performance optimization (e.g., A/B testing, click-through rates).
  • Collaboration & Project Management
    • Collaborate closely with product managers, marketing leaders, and external vendors when needed.
    • Manage timelines and priorities across multiple imaging projects to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Recommend tools, techniques, and upgrades to continually improve SPR’s imaging capabilities.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No specific supervisory responsibilities

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or 360-degree product imagery is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Experience in B2B, industrial, or JanSan industry is a bonus.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in product photography, graphic design, or content creation.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign).
  • Experience with studio lighting, color correction, image retouching, and file optimization.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platform requirements and image best practices (e.g., Amazon & Walmart).
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong visual portfolio showcasing product photography and graphic design work.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Mastery in the Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photo) is required.  Ability to work with programming scripts including, XML and HTML.  Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript with a deep understanding of UX/UI.   Detailed knowledge of digital marketing tools, such as email marketing, marketing automation, and social media is required.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.  Capable of effectively presenting a range of information to a variety of people.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, campaign details, press releases and/or email copy to headquarters personnel, field sales team, customers and general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, margin and percentages.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS:

  • Must be detail oriented and exceptional in organization techniques
  • Must be self-motivated, with ability to set and achieve goals, and set priorities of multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to coordinate activities of other employees

 

REASONING ABILITY: 

Use intuition to make decisions with limited guidance or a standardized process.  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited normalization exists.  Ability to organize, prioritize and manage projects.

The employee is occasionally required to lift to 10 lbs. in managing equipment needed for training sessions.  The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires up to 10% business travel.
