Key Responsibilities:
Assist in fine-tuning machine translation models and large language models (LLMs) for large-scale translation and localization projects; you will evaluate these models using industry best practices and success metrics.
Design and deploy APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask to integrate conversational AI and capabilities.
Collaborate with diverse teams to identify use cases and gather requirements.
Design and implement language data cleanup processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of language data resources (e.g., translation memories).
Stay updated on AI and NLP advancements to enhance our translation performance.
Qualifications & Key Requirements:
2+ years of experience with large language data sets and automation/DevOps methods.
Proficiency in Python, with a focus on NLP-related applications.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud, with experience in services relevant to NLP and translation.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or Google Cloud) and API development.
Interested in (Gen)AI tools and current trends in the field.
Strong presentation and communications skills.
Experience working in a dynamic matrix organization.
As a plus:
Knowledge of CAT tools (like memoQ) and translation management systems (like XTRF/Plunet).
Experience with modern web technologies (like React or Angular).
