Operations Coordinator - Military veterans preferred

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, working Between the hours of 07:30am & 18:00pm (8 hour shift, shift to be discussed at interview)
Location: Tamworth - B77 5PN / Hybrid Working

DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Operations Coordinator to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• To work across multiple contracts to support Local (Tamworth) and In-plant activities (Milton Keynes)
• Co-ordinate all International multi mode transport operations and ensure relevant legislation is adhered to.
• Support the development of processes to manage freight movements and demonstrate control over carriers utilised ensuring service quality.
• Create & tender collection requirements to predefined carrier base utilising DHL's web based system (OTM) and other systems
• Coordinates shipment from NOR (notice of readiness) through to delivery using the customer and DHL systems.
• Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that DHL provides the Customer with a best in class supply chain solution through the use of mutually agreed carriers
