NeoGenomics is looking for a Technical Analyst wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is a remote position with a Monday – Friday day shift.

Position Summary:

The Technical Analyst is responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with Business Analysts, Software Developers, and Architects to ensure seamless integration of solutions within our systems. This role involves analyzing system requirements, defining technical workflows, supporting solution design, and assisting with troubleshooting during development and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts to refine business requirements into technical specifications, suggest optimizations, and identify technical constraints
  • Create detailed documentation, analysis, data models, system architecture diagrams, and integration workflows using common tools such as Jira, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Visio, and Lucid charts
  • Support developers by clarifying technical requirements and troubleshooting issues
  • Work with QA teams to validate system functionality as needed and ensure technical requirements are met
  • Work with BA teams to support user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed
  • Monitor system behavior post-launch and assist with technical issues
  • Objectively and proactively overcome roadblocks and issues
  • Presentation and communication of concepts, initiatives, issues and status updates

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred
  • 3 years of experience working in the software development preferred, 2 years required
  • Experience in the health care industry a plus
  • Experience in Azure or AWS a plus
  • Experience in systems integrations a plus
  • Technical understanding of design and architecture of our IT landscape
  • Experience creating and maintaining high level design proposals, wire frames, user stories, user scenarios, and UML Call Sequence diagrams
  • Knowledge of software development design patterns, pub/sub, façade, JSON, RESTful APIs, and relational databases
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a natural curiosity and desire to unravel complex challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
