General Summary:
The Leadership Coordinator at Ace University has primary responsibilities for designing and implementing leadership development programs. The Leadership Coordinator will also be responsible for facilitating the leadership training sessions and workshops. The Leadership Coordinator will report to the Training Manager.
Preferred Job Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Desire to see others succeed by mentoring and sharing knowledge with others.
- Basic computer skills demonstrating effective use of Microsoft Office products and use of Learning Management System (LMS/CMS)
- Completion of a course of study in electrical construction under the direction and supervision of an established school or apprenticeship program.
- Ability to complete objective without direct supervision.

Responsibilities:
Program Development & Strategy
- Designs and implements leadership development programs.
Aligns leadership training with Ace’s goals and objectives.
Incorporates best practices and innovative leadership training methodologies.
Needs Assessment:
Conducts assessments to identify leadership training needs.
Analyzes gaps in leadership skills within Ace.
Develops customized training plans to address those identified needs.
Scheduling & Logistics:
Plans and schedules leadership training sessions, workshops, and seminars. Coordinates with other trainers, guest speakers and participants when planning events.
Arranges venues, equipment, and other logistical needs for training events.
Training Delivery:
Using various instructional techniques, facilitate leadership training sessions and workshops.
Ensures training sessions are interactive to engage participants and provide practical leadership skills.
Mentorship & Coaching:
Develops and manages a mentorship program to emerging leaders.
Pair participants in the mentorship program with experienced leaders for one-on-one coaching.
Provides ongoing support and guidance to mentors and participants.
Performance Monitoring & Evaluation:
Assesses the progress and performance of participants in leadership programs.- Conducts evaluations and provides feedback to participants.
- Uses assessment data to refine and improve leadership programs.
Resource Management:
Ensures availability of training materials, resources, and tools.- Manages the budget for leadership development activities.
- Allocates resources efficiently to support leadership training initiatives.
Communication & Coordination:
- Serves as the main point of contact for leadership training inquiries.
- Communicates program details, schedules, and expectations to participants and stakeholders.
- Coordinates with department heads to identify potential leaders and training candidates.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensures leadership programs comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Maintains detailed records of training activities, attendance, and participant progress.
- Prepares reports on the effectiveness and outcomes of leadership training programs.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stays updated on trends and best practices in leadership development.
- Attends professional development events and network with industry experts.
- Implements feedback from participants to continuously improve leadership programs.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Fosters a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Engages employees in leadership activities to promote retention and growth.
- Recognizes and rewards participation and achievements in leadership programs.
Position Requirements:
- License: Valid state driver's license as required.
- Education: High School Graduate or GED. Bachelors preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years office experience. Must be comfortable presenting in front of large groups.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a climate-controlled office setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.
- Considerable amount of time making repetitive motions.
- Considerable amount of time sitting.
- Considerable amount of time using telephone and computer.
- Sounds and noise levels may be distracting or uncomfortable.
Required Physical/Mental Functions:
- Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook.
- Read and interpret instructional manuals and written instructions.
- Must hear and see well (either natural or with correction).
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead.
- Able to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Tolerant to prolonged sitting.
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
