POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Parts Specialist to join our maintenance and shop team. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ordering heavy equipment and truck parts for the maintenance team
  • Managing part cores, and returns
  • Purchasing parts, wear-parts, steel, welding supplies, and consumables
  • Tracking stock levels and organizing inventories
  • Maintaining vendor and supplier relationships

Position Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • 2+ years of purchasing and/or buying experience is preferred.
  • Experience with heavy equipment and truck maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Excel is preferred.
  • Physically fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations.
  • Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and vendors.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Ability to listen and take direction.
  • Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Willingness to completion additional position specific skills training as required.
