CDL Class A Lubricant Driver

Job Type: Full-Time ( 45+ hrs.)

Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7a.m.- 4p.m.

Location: Elk River, Minnesota


We are seeking a dependable and professional CDL Class A Driver to join our lubricant delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering bulk and packaged lubricants to commercial and industrial customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, customer service, and compliance with DOT regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive assigned Tractor/Tanker trailer to pick up propane/fuel and deliver to assigned facilities
  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicle to transport bulk and packaged lubricants to commercial, industrial, and retail customer sites.
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork, logs, and electronic documentation.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials according to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Load and unload lubricants, using appropriate equipment such as pumps, hoses, and forklifts as necessary.
  • Safety and efficiently transfer products between transport and bulk storage
  • Maintain DOT compliance
  • Performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Class A State Driver's License with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements
  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
  • Ability to safely drive various vehicles
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift and move containers (up to 100 lbs.) and operate forklifts/pallet jacks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver objects weighing up to 100 pounds.

· Capable of standing and performing physical tasks for prolonged periods, up to 8 hours per shift.

· Frequent physical activity required, including bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, and performing repetitive motions.

· Must be able to work in outdoor environments and tolerate varying weather conditions and temperature extremes.
