POSITION SUMMARY

A management professional with 5+ years of related construction rental industry experience who will spearhead major initiatives of common procedures and practices, business development, cost control, and team management.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Lead a diverse sales team of tenured and new Construction Rental Representatives.
  • Train and Develop Sales Teams skillset
  • Develop and Drive sales teams goals in a winning culture.
  • Consult with Rental Operations Director to establish uniformed processes and procedures for Company.
  • Develop and submit regular reports on equipment, including add/deletes, utilization, maintenance costs, etc.
  • Consistently travel to branch operations to monitor staff and ensure adherence to rental excellence criteria.
  • Develop a strong relationship with both the sales and service organizations.
  • Work with Service Operations to ensure economical rental maintenance costs.
  • Periodically attend rental and sales calls with sales organization.
  • Establish competitive rental rates in assigned area.
  • Monitor and communicate on market, utilization & trends in assigned region and competitor trends to management.
  • With the help of the marketing director, develop and maintain a marketing strategy within rental district.
  • Work with other departments to develop effective strategies to increase sales and gross profit in the contractor division.



Qualifications:

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: College Degree preferred
Experience: 5 plus years of related industry experience, experience quoting/selling Equipment retail and wholesale. Aerial Equipment rental experience is a must have.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge and abilities of Microsoft Office products prior knowledge and use of CRM a plus
Other Requirements: Daily travel within territory and some overnight travel
