Overview

The Clinical Research Assistant 2 works closely with all members of the team to ensure all aspects of research visits are complete and documented. This position will primarily assist the Regulatory Coordinator and the Clinical Research Coordinators in various tasks related to the clinical trials, and assist in clinic.

 

Assisting clinical research coordinators may include:

  • Data Entry
  • Screen potential study participants
  • Request patient imaging and CDs from external sources and upload imaging to databases
  • Schedule research appointments, check in and room patients
  • Process and ship specimens
  • Perform ECGs
  • Retrieve study medications from Research Pharmacy

Assisting Regulator Coordinator may include:

  • Monitor the shared regulator email
  • Identify and save/file necessary documents and communication
  • Send reminders to staff to complete CITI training
  • Request updated CVs and licenses from all study staff, PI’s and Sub-I’s
  • Gather documents and information in preparation for IRB submissions

Non-Therapeutic Trials:

  • Coordinate with the PI to screen, enroll and conduct visits with guidance from experienced coordinators
  • Request missing records
  • Schedule necessary clinical services
  • Data extraction

Clinic Responsibilities:

  • Assist with checking in and rooming patients
  • Make outgoing calls to schedule patients for their follow-ups
  • Cover incoming phone calls
  • Help patients with virtual visit setup
  • Place Zio Patch heart monitors
  •  


Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's in relevant field; OR Associate's AND 2 years of relevant experience; OR 3 years of relevant experience; OR Equivalent combination of training and experience
