· Familiarity with web design best practices for commercial and government entities

· Proficiency with federal design systems, such as United Stated Web Design System

· Able to work independently or within a team, managing multiple projects while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and team members.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and influence stakeholders to make informed, user-centered decisions.

· Must be able to secure federal security clearance and/or background check

· Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance

· Must be able to work East Coast hours when needed; core team hours are 10am – 3pm Eastern Time

· Experience working on a scrum team within the Agile delivery framework (desired)

· Hands-On experience with both user research and interface design (desired)

· Minimum 5 years of experience in UX, UI, Interaction Design, or other Human-Centered Design field

· Present current portfolio demonstrating ideology, methods, tools, and skills

· Demonstrate experience or knowledge of common user research methods, such as usability testing, card sorts, or interviewing and applying those insights to personas, journey maps, site maps, and interface design

· Experience with government contracting (federal civilian or defense)
