About Our Team

This is a team of technical professionals responsible for the implementation of our strategic IT applications essential for our daily business operations. Members are usually assigned to projects such as new business startup and work as a part of cross-functional project team, from design phase up to hyper care support after go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver system applications to our business team and customer on time, with good quality.
  • Act as a technical lead in implementation project, providing technical direction and guidance to other project members including overseas development teams and vendors.
  • Design system solution considering company’s business strategy and standardization policies, and document it both for users/customers and IT development members.
  • Communicate with major project stakeholders including external customers and bridge the gaps between complex business objectives and our standard IT products.
  • Follow up issues related to our products for troubleshooting and escalate it to appropriate teams including global/regional product owner teams in a timely manner.
  • Work mainly from HQ office in Japan, but also on site upon special events such as go-live and hyper care support. May participate in projects in other APAC countries.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support product manager in team building area and future product strategy planning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in business application implementation preferably in logistics sector such as WMS.
  • Fluent speaking and writing skills both in English and Japanese(N2)
  • Ability to convey complicated, important information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workload effectively
  • Ability to build good relationships with fellow employees as well as internal/external clients
  • Experience in system development with basic database knowledge/skill such as SQL
