Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center is currently hiring an Administrative Services Assistant to support a new Survivorship Research Initiative. This position serves as the front-line interface for the Markey Cancer Center’s Director of Survivorship Research. Duties include but are not limited to: providing clerical, logistical, and administrative support for the leadership team; managing communications; planning and managing Survivorship Research Initiative meetings, projects, and events; liaising with internal and external collaborators; and providing research administration support for survivorship investigators (e.g., issuing and managing participant payments, supporting research activities).

In addition to being detail-oriented, the successful candidate will exhibit maturity, customer service, and good judgment and have proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; strong interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the capacity to work independently and with flexibility. Experience with Concur and procards and/or research coordination preferred.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
