Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Business Controller is mainly responsible for timely and accurate reporting of Site’s financial performance, developing budgets, forecasts and supporting management’s decisions. The role involves performing specialized financial activities to ensure efficient operation adhering to internal procedures and laws.

Job description:
• Manage monthly financial closings of Site, ensure that monthly results are reported timely and they accurately and truly present Site’s financial performance,
• Financial planning of Site, develop budgets and forecasts,
• Analyze deviations of actual results from financial plan and propose actions for improvements,
• Identify risks & opportunities versus budget and forecast
• Regular and ad hoc financial reports and analyses including weekly updates on Site’s performance,
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to customers
• Monitor collections at due dates and report overdue payments in line with internal procedures,
• Ensure that purchases on Site are approved in accordance with internal procedures
• Support achieving costs savings and avoiding overspends
• Support winning new business and existing customers retention, develop scenarios for management decisions,
• Promote compliance with internal procedures and laws,
• Participate in ad hoc projects and support new tools/procedures implementation.

Wage (gross) 

Salary is from 2700€ plus yearly bonus plus other financial and non-financial benefits
(A final salary package will be subject of negotiations based on the candidate experience.)

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s or University Degree in Finance,
• Excellent analytical skills
• 5 years of experience in Finance Controlling
• Excellent presentation skills, ability to present financial data in clear manner
• Experienced MS Excel user
• Fluent in English
• Experience with Oracle Cloud is an advantage
• Experience with transport business is an advantage
