Overview

The Technical Delivery Manager for Zscaler and Identity Services DevSecOps Teams plays a critical role in leading engineering and operations, ensuring seamless delivery of advanced security solutions and identity management services. This position entails managing cross-functional teams, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, and driving innovation to maintain robust security frameworks and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead and inspire the engineering and operations DevSecOps teams responsible for Zscaler and Identity Services.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive alignment and shared goals.

Technical Delivery

  • Oversee the implementation, optimization, and management of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access), ZPA (Zscaler Private Access), ZDX (Zscaler Digital Experience), Private Service Edge, and Incident Receiver solutions.
  • Act as the technical delivery owner for Identity Services, ensuring seamless integration with broader security initiatives.
  • Ensure teams effectively utilize tools such as ServiceNow and ScienceLogic for operational workflows, incident management, and performance monitoring.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for secure and scalable delivery in a DevSecOps environment.

Strategic Planning and Operations

  • Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for security and identity services aligned with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to define objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for projects and initiatives.
  • Manage operational budgets and resources effectively to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks across security and identity platforms.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, industry, and corporate compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align delivery with overarching security policies and frameworks.


Responsibilities

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Proven expertise in Zscaler technologies, including ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, Private Service Edge, and Incident Receiver solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of identity services and protocols, including SSO, MFA, and directory services.
  • Experience with DevSecOps principles and practices, enabling secure development and delivery pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as ServiceNow and ScienceLogic for IT operations and incident management.

Leadership and Communication

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to drive timely and quality delivery.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in Zscaler solutions, identity services, and DevSecOps practices are highly desirable.
