Job Summary

CC ensuring that client’s needs are met as the project evolves; is responsible for the selection and completion of repair projects, within work teams, and managing the site’s tool and construction material design.

Administrative support on minor and medium construction projects, within DHL existing or new facilities: construction point of sales (high volume projects), offices, industrial buildings and/or workplace interiors. Require experience developing Construction projects in Retail / Industrial sector. Project Management knowledge or experience.

You must however, display excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills. Will be expected to work in a team setting, lead large and small groups, and model DHL values. Supervision of the process, administrative work.

Tasks:

    • Scope Countries: DHL Mexico Real Estate Porfolio (DHL Express, DHL Supply Chain and DHL Global Forwarding)
    • Workstation: Mexico city (DHL Express, DHL Supply Chain and DHL Global Forwarding)
    • Availability to travel
    • Manage all documentation related to the construction projects and assure it meets the requirements according to the standardized construction process; from design phase, up to the project delivery and administrative closure (as-built)
    • Manage platforms for project follow up and internal reporting: Power BI
    • Communicate actively the project status to the stake holders and reflect it in the internal platforms.
    • Close monitoring od projects assuring they are closed on time and according to planned budget.
    • Assure the availability of supplier related documentation and make sure it is not overdue.
    • Manage and follow up warranty issues related to the delivered projects.
    • Manage specification development and perform technical analysis to define the design requirements for each construction project (executive project, catalogues, renders).
    • Supplier management for executive and construction projects; support contractors to help them reach a high level of performance
    • Manage lessons learned sessiones with the stakeholders
    • Support the development of specifications, technical analysis to fully define the designed requirements for construction projects (drawings, catalogues, renders)
    • Develop process that helps a continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Help work teams maintain a positive attitude and appropriate work environment.
    • Communicate with Construction Staff about construction team status.
    • Conduct daily construction team meetings.
    • Follow the construction manual’s standard plans and guidelines for all projects.
    • Progressive use of diferent digitalitation tools (project tracking).

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • University Degree in Engineering (Civil, Architecture, Industrial)
    • Bilingual: English/ local language as needed (intermediate level)
    • 2-5 years of Construction Projects experience
    • Software: AutoCAD (advance level), REVIT (basic level), Photoshop (intermediate level), Powe BI (intermediate level)
    • Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel (intermediate level), PPT, Project, Visio, etc.
