The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

- Proficient in developing, tracking, analyzing, and reporting budget plans and funding execution; accurately recording financial data in appropriate tools and automated systems

- Skilled in planning and preparing Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build and budget year documentation, responses to audit requests, and responses to internal/external tasks

- Demonstrated experience providing financial input to documents, briefings, and reports

- Skilled in financial analyses to address changes in technical scope, schedule, and strategy

- Experience in policy and process improvement, analyzing office operations to recommend policy/procedures that improve budget and financial management processes

Education/Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree & 8 Years of Position-Specific Experience

- Proficiency in MS Office; automated financial systems; meeting support; file management

- Comprehensive knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process from budget formulation through funds execution, reconciliation, audit, and closeout; DoD financial management best practices; financial risk management

- Ability to manage, prioritize, and complete tasks on time, tracking and reporting activities while recommending solutions to achieve cost savings and address/resolve issues

- Exceptional stakeholder collaboration and communication, both verbally and in writing

The noise level in the work environment may be high when operating power equipment. The employee may be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions and may be exposed to outside weather conditions when transporting materials. The employee will be required to properly apply such safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or others.
