We are now hiring a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager. Qualified candidates will hold a compact license and the CCM.

The Telephonic Case Manager provides remote medical case management services to injured individuals, many of whom were industrially injured. A Telephonic Case Manager assists consumers in their recovery so that they may return to the highest level of function as possible. This position will also have the opportunity to provide telephonic triage nursing. Medical services are coordinated and assessed frequently, vocational options are explored with the injured worker and their employers, and pre-injury employment or alternate employment is secured. The Telephonic Case Manager works with all parties to the claim including: the injured person, the claim’s examiner, employer, attorneys (plaintiff and defense) and medical providers.

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recommended certifications (e.g., CCM, CRRN, COHN, CDMS, CRC) required
• GA Rehab Supplier and NCIC registry preferred
• Experience in case management of workers comp cases strongly preferred
• Skills required for success: organization and timeline adherence skills, PC and technology skills, communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
• Skilled at patient education
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
