We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Manufacturing/Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations of our machine shop and ensure the smooth running of all production and facility functions. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in machining/manufacturing processes, and a solid understanding of facility maintenance and improvement.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the machine shop to ensure efficient production and timely delivery.
Oversee scheduling, work orders, and workflow to meet customer demands and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to optimize processes.
Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment and infrastructure.
Coordinate facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of machinists, maintenance technicians, and support staff.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews, training, and workforce planning.
Manage manufacturing and facilities budgets, including labor, materials, and maintenance costs.
Track and report on KPIs related to production output, downtime, equipment utilization, and facility performance.
Collaborate with upper management to align operational goals with company strategy.
