CAD Drafter II
Perform a variety of design and drafting duties to produce finished assembly, bills of materials, and detail drawings using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting to support our Document Control, New Product Development, and Sustaining Engineering needs.
Key Responsibilities
Create or revise accurate, detailed CAD models, manufacturing drawings, BOM’s, and other engineering documentation as required.
Prepare all required documents and reports on projects including progress.
Check own work prior to submitting for approval.
Check peer’s work as required.
Perform other related duties as directed by Design Manager.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Associates’ Degree or equivalent in Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Industrial Technology, or other related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling and 2D mechanical drafting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Knowledge of SolidWorks PDM.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
