About the role:
The Pricing Analyst will support the sales floor in pursuit of higher penetration of customers and landing new customers with high broker revenue potential. The analyst serves as a single point of contact for the salesperson in filling out suggested rates for the specific lanes being quoted and other materials as needed.

What you’ll be doing:
- Act as a pricing expert for the salesperson in the completion of bid requests for existing and prospective customers
- Great communication with the salesperson being serviced
- Deliver truck pay pricing for the lanes being requested utilizing the rate tools
- Consult with the broker on customer pricing strategies on all large bids
- Enhance the rate algorithms in the rate tools so they bring back a more accurate reflection of the truck pay rates in that forecasted timeframe
- Work with IT and the Product Manager responsible for enhancing broker pricing tools
- Utilize outside truck pay rate sources when appropriate to enhance the data we have internally
- Serve as an expert in carrier pay and customer bill trends, analysis and forecasting
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent computer skills with Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Basic understanding of freight markets and freight market rate structures
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization including sales and sales management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis tools
- Familiar with Analysis and Statistics
- SQL & Power BI experience is a plus
