Overview

EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Data Coordination Specialist to our team. The Data Coordination Spec. will be culpable for the daily reception of hard drives and data in the office. They will monitor project status and ensure timely arrival of data and proper status fulfillment. Also, they will be culpable for assuring company resources are prepared, shipped, and received in a timely and efficient manner.


Responsibilities

• Daily reception, organization, and refresh of physical hard drives to support data copy up and remote imaging operations, troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Document and audit details related to project data status using established company standards and systems
• Communicate with relevant parties regarding any discrepancies or errors
• Contact and coordinate with remote pilots on missing or unfulfilled shipments
• Troubleshoot receiving issues and escalate for assistance when needed
• Receive items for all departments and assist with packaging, inventorying, and shipping where applicable
• Assess, package, inventory, and ship hard drive/equipment orders for remote pilots
• Locate and resolve missing shipments from the field
• International shipping coordination, including maintaining documents and customs coordination
• Inventory and order shipping supplies to stock the dock
• Maintain drive hardware for proper function
• Prepare, coordinate, and ship freight shipments as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment on the shipping dock and in the receiving area
• Ongoing software training and development support for best practices and procedural improvements
• Full-time position (40 hours/week), with occasional Saturday shifts; schedule subject to change based on operational needs


Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 7 and 10
• Technical PC experience (file management, networking, databases, etc.)
• Well-organized, dependable, self-sufficient, able to set own goals, and resourceful
• Quickly understand copious amounts of information, terms and acronyms, and rapidly changing procedures
• Robust communication, writing, and technical skills
• Confident decision-making abilities and analytical skills
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Experience:
• Digital Imaging, Photography, Physics, Mathematics, Management, GIS, Scripting, Remote Sensing, Information Technology, and/or clerical experience
• Shipping experience, including using shipping software, scheduling, international shipping, and dock work
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
• Basic familiarity with Linux systems
• Desire to be a department player in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to shift gears to learn and understand modern technology and processes quickly
• Ability to oversee high stress, time based, and detail intensive data processing
