QPC:
The Quality Parenting Center (QPC) is a program that provides parents and their children with a comfortable and homelike setting where families can safely spend time together and create positive memories. The Visiting Coach model empowers parents through visit planning, and assists them with identifying and responding to their children’s needs. Visits can be scheduled 365 days a year, evenings and weekends included in order to best meet the needs of the families. QPC is tasked with facilitating transportation for parents and children. The TCA position requires a great deal of time transporting children in agency and personal vehicles. In order to safely facilitate the transports, staff must be able to carry and install car seats in agency mini-vans which requires being able to climb in and out of the back seats.
