Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for conducting security checks, tests, and audits necessary to protect CCAA information and infrastructure from external or internal threats. This position reports to the Supervisor of Airport Operations.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assists with the CCAA regulatory compliance for security protocols: monitors and audits security practices in compliance with all necessary federal, state, and local laws governing airport security; issues security access media, verifying compliance with TSA-approved Airport security access protocols; generates and posts replacement/newly required regulatory signage on airport property per TSA regulations.


Completes safety inspection of deliveries: scans deliveries visually and with a handheld metal detecting device to ensure no introduction of contraband to the SIDA area; inspects/stamps/logs/dates/releases all certified deliveries to each recipient.


Coordinates dissemination of security related information for CCAA departments and tenants attends multiple administrative and tenant meetings to discuss policy changes/address issues/answer questions; maintains current training/certifications to include AAAE, Respect, EXCEL, and IT to ensure up-to-date security compliance across all CCAA activities.


Processes a variety of documentation associated with department/division operations, within designated timeframes and per established procedures: receives and reviews various documentation to include equipment inspection reports, memos, and email; reviews, completes, processes, forwards or retains as appropriate; prepares or completes various forms, reports, correspondence, and other documentation, including inspection reports, daily activity and tracking sheets, and the monthly activity report; compiles data for further processing or for use in preparation of department reports; and maintains computerized and/or hardcopy records.


Operates or uses various equipment, power tools, hand tools, and supplies in order to complete work assignments operates and maintains forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, hand trucks, and other power or motorized equipment; operates a personal computer to enter, retrieve, review, or modify data, spreadsheets, Internet, e-mail, or other software; and operates general office or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions.


Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Two (2) years of experience in a related field of work.

· Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience.


Specific License or Certification Required:

· Valid South Carolina driver's license.

· Must have the ability to obtain Trusted Agent, Forklift, and SIDA certifications.
