Senior Payables Specialist - Military veterans preferred

• We are looking for a Senior Payables Specialist to join our DHL Global Forwarding team!
• Position:                     Senior Payables Specialist                                 
• Reports to:                 Payables Manager
•                                                                        
• Key Tasks: -

• Manage outsourcing and daily operation with Global Service Center team.
• Liaise with Finance Shared Services and vendors to ensure that bills are timely processed and promptly paid.
• Assist in the improvement of Finance processes and controls, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts or dispute related to supplier payment by liaison with product managers, suppliers, and GSC.
• Manage month-end and year-end AP closing procedures and accruals.
• Handle vendor master data process and review the master database in compliance.
• Support the finance team in any task as assigned.
• Qualifications Requirements: -
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or any related field.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting-AP
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid experience in MS Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, charts, etc.) required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
