Pay Rate: £23,809.50 (£3 per hour shift premium for PM shift)
Location: Northampton - NN4 7BW
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7. Available patterns: 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

??A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment
• Getting hands-on with manual tasks, from handling to loading and unloading stock using a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) to handle
• Inventory Checks: Conducting regular counts on lanes to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Pallet Consolidation: Combining pallets for optimised space and efficiency.
• Cross Docking: Transferring goods directly from incoming to outgoing transport with minimal storage.
• Housekeeping: Ensuring recycling and maintaining a clean, organised warehouse.
• Operatives must follow correct safe systems of work and adhere to all health and safety policies.

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Previous use of PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) would be desirable
• Ability to adhere to health and safety policies
• A flexible, friendly approach with a can-do attitude
• Excellent organisational skills along with speed and accuracy
