Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000/Annually. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.

Professional Summary

The Senior Computer Support Technician is a key onsite technical resource responsible for

advanced support of Straumann’s global IT infrastructure. This dynamic role ensures the

functionality, security, and performance of end-user systems across corporate,

manufacturing, and Logistics environments. The technician leads client-side initiatives,

supports global users, and maintains direct ownership of endpoint hardware and software

operations.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for end-user systems, both onsite and remote, using
  • ServiceNow and other ITSM tools.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle processes, including procurement, imaging,
  • deployment, support, and decommissioning.
  • Support global remote users with high-quality, clear communication and timely
  • resolution.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software, operating systems (Windows/macOS),
  • and company-standard applications.
  • Support core communication systems: VoIP phones, mobile devices, A/V
  • equipment, and video conferencing platforms.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on computers and peripherals, coordinate with
  • vendors for escalated repairs.
  • Act as the technical lead on local client-side IT projects; contribute to larger cross functional
  • initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance and availability of systems in manufacturing, logistics, and
  • corporate spaces.
  • Document procedures and contribute to knowledge base for internal IT use.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of IT support or desktop engineering experience in enterprise

environments.

  • 4+ years’ of strong experience of PC systems, applications, networking basics, and peripheral

hardware, troubleshooting concepts.

  • 4+ years proficiency with Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM, and Windows operating systems.
  • 4+ years of solid understanding of hardware/software deployment and lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to support users globally

across cultures and time zones.

  • Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred).
  • Familiarity with macOS is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with SailPoint or other identity/access management tools.
  • Exposure to manufacturing or lab support environments.
  • ITIL certification or working knowledge.
  • Multilingual skills (Spanish, Portuguese, or German) are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain an organized, methodical

approach to tasks.

Work Environment & Requirements:

  • This is a 100% onsite role. Remote work is not an option.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs of IT equipment.
  • Flexibility to work early/late shifts and weekends when required.
  • Participation in scheduled on-call rotations is required.
