At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of government customer, we are seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer with experience in supporting (DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols).
Job Duties:
The Test Engineer will establish test procedures and coordinate testing of products under development.
- Developmental T&E and Software testing experience. Provides T&E subject matter expertise to the Assistant Program Manager – Test (APM-T), ensuring thorough analysis of system requirements, concepts of operation, acquisition plans, and system descriptions.
- Develops, reviews, and updates T&E documentation in accordance with U.S. Marine Corps Integrated T&E Handbook, PM T&E policy, and SOPs. Creates and revises Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), test strategies, test plans, and procedures to align with program objectives.
- Coordinates and executes data collection and analysis during test events, documenting results to inform decision-making. Assists government stakeholders with drafting and reviewing test-related documents, ensuring compliance and clarity.
- Provides technical input during T&E meetings and adapts support roles to align with evolving program requirements while maintaining seamless communication with stakeholders. May also provide on-site equipment testing and analysis support IAW applicable Marine Corps and DoD policies.
- Drafting and reviewing test reports, verifying and validating technical documentation and test activities, managing routine maintenance and inventory of supported equipment. Conducting firmware testing and characterization for proposed upgrades, performing equipment analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure operational effectiveness. Drafting, staffing, and submitting CDRLs for Government review.
Education/Experience:
- BS (Engineering Field)
- DAU Foundational (Engineering & Technical Management) core equivalency
- 3-6 years of work related experience
Specific Responsibilities:
- Understanding of applicable DoD and USMC Test and Evaluation (T&E) policies and methodologies, including test planning, execution, data collection, and analysis. Working knowledge of Developmental Testing (DT), Operational Testing (OT), and Integrated Test and Evaluation (ITE); and T&E standards and SOPs relevant to technical support and equipment management.
- Minimum Clearance Required: SECRET
