We are currently seeking a Security Specialist to become part of our award-winning team. The Security Specialist will patrol and secure the premises during off-hours and weekends as well as identify security and safety risks to our team. This position is part-time varying schedule and extra hours during holidays and staff vacations.

Responsibilities

• Control access onto the property.
• Conduct periodic foot patrols throughout the property.
• Monitor premises to prevent property damage and theft.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Completes shift activity logs.
• Between patrol duties, work on additional tasks as assigned.

This is part-time position. Must be flexible to work a varying schedule including nights and weekends.

Basic Qualifications:

• One to three years of experience in security, law enforcement, first responder, military or related field preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• A background check is mandatory and must meet company background check criteria.
• Must have and maintain a Florida Driver's License.

This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen or green card holder.
