Position Summary:

The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications is responsible for leading the organization’s Corporate Communications and Philanthropy Team, developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies to ensure that messages consistently reflect and promote the Straumann Group’s mission, vision, and

purpose. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Education, this role will collaborate closely with

cross-functional project teams and the executive leadership team to focus on both strategic development

and tactical execution.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and guide the Corporate Communications and Philanthropy Team to ensure effective collaboration and high-quality work.
  • Develop and manage strategic communication plans using digital and social media to deliver key messages

and engage various audiences and stakeholders effectively.

  • Drive major employee brand initiatives across North America by creating strategic communications that represent and promote the Straumann Group’s mission, vision, and purpose, enhancing employee brand

engagement.

  • Develop and implement executive communications in collaboration with Straumann Group North America’s

Lead Team, creating high-quality messaging and multimedia content for internal and external channels.

  • Identify and execute innovative communications strategies to boost engagement and awareness within the

organization, focusing on internal and external participation in key events such as employee gatherings, Town Halls, leadership meetings, new product launches, special events, and community service initiatives locally and globally.

  • Create, edit, and publish polished content for various audiences, including organizational announcements,

presentations, speeches, articles, and briefings.

  • Enhance Straumann Group North America’s charitable initiative, Let Them Shine, by developing and executing impactful internal and external communication strategies.
  • Travel less than 10% both domestically and internationally.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Management Responsibilities:

This position oversees one full-time Corporate Responsibility Manager.

Physical Attributes:

  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Utilize dexterity abilities to perform typing, operate a computer and other office equipment, to perform filing,

and related job responsibilities and attention to detail competence.

  • Spend significant time reading both on paper and on a computer.
  • Physically able to spend significant time reading both on paper and on a computer.

Work Environment:

  • General office environment.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience with corporate communications
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or other relevant area of study.
  • Highly polished writing skills, strong presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing creative internal and external communications strategies and plans for a dynamic and diverse organization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communications planning and implementation of content including video, social media, high-impact emails, print collateral, face-to-face and virtual meetings, intranet and website content, and mobile technology.
  • Comfortable owning relationships with leaders and colleagues across the organization and driving execution from them.
  • Proven independent management skills in a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Excellent project and change management skills and follow up, adept at methodologies, tools and the ability to translate theory into practice.
  • Able to influence peers, staff, managements, and executive managements to achieve project objectives; for example, soliciting and reconciling feedback from multiple sources and through lessons learned.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Strong proficiency with CMS for both intranet and websites, and social media channel posting.
