Inspector Auditor - Military veterans preferred

Ensure product conforms to quality requirements as set forth by customer. This includes any or all of the following: dimensional checks, targeting, use of gauges or fixtures, visual inspections, liquid penetrant testing, pressure testing, magna-flux testing, and any other learned techniques or processes.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Audit all shipments for compliance with company and customer specifications
• Review quality specifications, coordinate the flow of paperwork (lot tags, travelers), and utilize shop-floor reporting to record casting progression and job close-out.
• Work closely with Finishing Area associates to communicate quality requirements on castings.  
• Assist supervisors as needed to package finished castings to send to customers. 
• Inspect and process castings to customer specifications using: LP techniques, Pressure Testing, Magna-flux procedures, Visual inspection, dimensional analysis, straightening, targeting, gauging and fixturing techniques.
• Any other duties requested by the supervisor/lead.

Basic Math; Basic Reading (Charts, SOP’s); Basic Writing. Must pass eye exam if applicable.
