Position Summary:
Aegis Aerospace is seeking a Junior Systems Integrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the IRES (Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions) contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily satellite ground system checks using Infrastructure as Code (BASH, Ansible, Powershell)
- Develop scripts to assist with improving system reliability and cyber compliance
- Participate in the installation, configuration, licensing, and verification of various applications on Linux or Windows environments within the Missile Defense Space Center
- Investigate and troubleshoot software issues, providing user support to resolve system issues
- Work with system administrators and engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have at least 6 months of full-time IT experience
- Must be familiar with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Microsoft Windows
- Must have a basic understanding of programming languages (ex: Python, Java, Pearl, C++)
- Must have knowledge of networking configurations in a mixed Linux and Windows environment
- Must have, or obtain within 6 months, a current IAT Level II or above (ex: Security+)
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of security, system hardening, system integrity, system backup, and continuous monitoring/auditing
Compensation:
Salary Range: $85,000– $105,000 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, education, location, and applicable certifications.
