Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Intern to join our West Hartford, CT team. This position will provide support in implementing and supporting operations initatives. 

  • Learn and utilize new Preventative Maintenance software; perform data entry of equipment and maintenance information

  • Perform inventory accuracy checks of equipment throughout the facility using spreadsheets and software systems

  • Label facility equipment as needed to maintain accurate plant inventory records

  • Assist employees in organizing equipment and tooling in the maintenance area

  • Support general maintenance activities as needed

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing or similiar field, with a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs as part of routine tasks
  • Strong mathematics aptitude with practical application in technical environments
  • Committed to maintaining a safe work environment in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to efficiently isolate problems and drive root cause
  • Strong problem solving skills and written communication capability
  • Team player, comfortable working in a cross functional group
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent resident
