About the Role:
Join our Global Business Services (GBS) Finance team in Budapest and become part of a strong international organization where finance meets innovation. As a Cost Accounting Expert, you will ensure the accuracy of controlling processes, support system developments (SAP CO), and help us continuously improve cost accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly cost accounting closings
• Support and optimize SAP CO processes and change requests
• Cooperate with IT and business partners on system developments
• Conduct and document UAT testing for system upgrades
• Support automation, process standardization, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Maintain transparent documentation of processes and changes
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or IT
• Minimum 4 years of experience in controlling/cost accounting
• Advanced user of SAP CO (S/4 HANA knowledge is a plus)
• Experience in shared service/GBS environment is an advantage
• Strong analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach
• Self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently
• Fluent English and German – both are essential for this role
