What We’re Looking For
As an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong network background at CyberPoint, you will support complex, mission-driven environments. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and integrating scalable, secure systems and collaborating across technical teams to deliver resilient solutions.

    This position is 100% onsite in Maryland and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.

    Qualifications

    What You’ll Need

    • U.S. Citizenship
    • Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
    • Seventeen (17) - Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
    • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a degree.
    • IAT Level 1 or higher certification is required (e.g., A+ CE, Network+ CE or SSCP). Security+ is preferred
    • Experience developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systems.
    • Skilled in creating technical documentation for both troubleshooting and training purposes.
    • Experience leading Agile and/or Spiral development efforts.
    • Experience with COTS/GOTS integration and extension across multiple vendors.
    • Knowledge of distributed storage routing and querying algorithms.
    • Familiarity with implementing storage area networks (SANs), data warehouses, and data marts.
    • Expertise in optimizing storage, retrieval, backup and retention strategies across globally distributed, high-throughput, multimedia systems.
    • Hands-on experience deploying storage in clustered or cloud environments.
    • Comfortable working in cross-functional IPT environments.
    • Capable of planning and integrating secure, compliant solution in line with legal and policy directives.
    • Strong knowledge of HDFS, Hadoop, HBase, Accumulo and/or BigTable internals.
