Job Summary and Description:

This role provides support to two officers, ensuring seamless operations and efficient task execution. The successful candidate will assist in fulfilling customer requests and delivering key objectives. Additionally, they will support leadership by gathering, monitoring, analyzing, and organizing information related to emerging science and technology, as well as financial and contractual data.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Schedules Executive's appointments and maintains up-to-date calendar. Exercises discretion in arranging Executive's schedule. Determines time and place of meetings, has input to agenda and recommends attendees. Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature.

  • Coordinates travel arrangements and logistics. Determines itinerary and helps evaluate most cost effective and efficient travel vendors.

  • Supports leadership by gathering, monitoring, analyzing and organizing member information on current and emerging science and technology.

  • Support technical teams in their deliverable publication process.

  • Support technical staff to ensure research results and associated materials are stored in centralized content management system.

  • Works with program members to help access program capabilities, evaluate the value of their membership and resolve other member related issues concerns and questions.

  • Organizes large meetings. Responsible for selecting venues within company guidelines, which will include negotiating rates and arrangements with vendors (hotel, caterers, travel agencies). Directs other support staff in ensuring meeting materials, presentations and other activities are coordinated.

  • Supports the technical staff in the purchase of goods and services.

  • Provide support in preparation of technical presentations and other materials for advisory meetings, external publications, conferences and workshops.

  • Provide support in maintaining various program websites.

  • Provide guidance and support to facilitate knowledge transfer and training to other roles such as Technical Assistants

Education & Experience:

  • AA degree in a scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years of administrative support experience. Preferably experience in supporting at the executive level.

?Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with external EPRI members and EPRI governing bodies (RAC, Board, Advisory Council)

  • Capability to handle administrative support role (word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, etc.)

  • A general understanding of the conduct of research projects from the definition phase through to results delivery and application.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated strong ability to identify, analyze, and negotiate and problem solve.

  • Capability of performing multiple and complex tasks with limited direction, while having the judgment to know when to ask for directions.

  • Supported programs technical publications (editing, collecting comments, publications process)

  • Demonstrated skills in presentations (editing, presenting, etc.)

  • Demonstrates ability to organize and lead large meetings (50+ attendees)

  • Maintain EPRI.com website content working with digital solutions, technical teams, and members

  • Proficient in document management within EPRI system architecture

  • Engage with members to facilitate knowledge transfer

The salary range for this position is $70,000 USD to $85,000 USD annually.

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
