Overview

What We’re Looking For
As an experienced Cloud Software Engineer you will design, develop and deploy advanced analytics and cloud-based solutions to tackle some of the most complex data challenges in national security. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep experience in scalable cloud environments, big data and AI-powered analytics.

This position is 100% onsite in Maryland and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired and will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience.
• A Master's degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field may be substituted for four (4) years of experience.
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate
• AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Elastic Certified Engineer

• Understanding of Big Data cloud scalability as implementing by major platforms (e.g., Amazon, Google, Facebook).
• Proven experience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques and algorithms.
• Experience developing and deploying analytics in at least one of the following areas:
• Foreign language processing
• Speech, text, image or video exploitation
• Analytics that function at massive scale (e.g., >1 billion rows or >10 Petabytes)
• Semantic data analytics (e.g., inference engines linking structured/unstructured data
• Pattern discovery across large-scale datasets
• AI/ML-based analytics, including genetic algorithms
• Experience with:
• Taxonomy construction for analytic disciplines and skill domains
• Linguistic analysis (grammar, morphology, etc.)
• Social network analytics development and deployment
• Documentation of ontologies, data models, schemas, APIs and related specs
• Deploying analytics in heterogeneous schema environments
