Facilities Manager - Military veterans preferred

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for daily activities to support IT facilities management, to include Infrastructure Facility Room (IFR) escorts. Responsible for supporting all authorized and emergency power and HVAC outages at the Pentagon and other JSP locations throughout the National Capital Region (NCR).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing walkthroughs of server rooms and telecommunication closets to ensure that environments are within acceptable ranges, equipment is properly staged, there are no security issues. If there are issues identified, the analyst must communicate and escalate to the appropriate teams for action.
• Supports all authorized and emergency power and HVAC outages at the Pentagon and other JSP locations throughout the NCR.
• Supports project managers with configuration management functions
• Supports Power SMEs with outages and daily activities (change management, Infrastructure Facility Room (IFR) escorts)
• Perform basic Power Audits
• Document all required information for each site visit performed within Service Now
• Supports inventories of equipment located within the IFRs
• Work with JSP members to coordinate custom and large installation projects
• Properly document, label, and return all defective or decommissioned parts
• Provide support for access issues with Access control contractors
• May be required to support various facilities maintenance activities, i.e., ASIs, installations, etc., as needed
• Escorts Pentagon tenants and vendors into the Infrastructure Facility Rooms and racks
• Performs other tasks as required by OSC Edge and the Government contracting team

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:

• Must have High School Diploma
• Must have an active Secret Clearance
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in related field ? Self-Motivated/ Self starter
• Ability to work independently as well as take direction from Facilities Managers
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to anticipate problems & take decisive action
• Familiarity with DoD and/or federal government environment
• Ability to use MS Office tools, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
• Ability to communicate with tenants/customers as well as coworkers
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
