We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Administrator (Key Personnel) to support and optimize enterprise-level software systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of in-house systems, while also directing and mentoring other system administrators in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize software systems and communication links.
Analyze and resolve end user software and connectivity issues across multiple locations.
Conduct capacity and performance analysis and recommend system upgrades and configurations.
Develop automated tools and scripts to increase administrative efficiency and accuracy.
Create system administrator procedures and provide training and skills assessments.
Provide on-site and remote maintenance support for servers and deployed applications.
Direct the day-to-day work of other systems administrators, ensuring resource optimization and user support.
Provide strategic technology recommendations to align with organizational goals.
Apply advanced knowledge of application networking, load balancing, and fault tolerance.
Conduct vulnerability management and ensure secure system configurations.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in information processing, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software systems.
DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level I (required if assigned “Privileged” access duties).
Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
