Kastle is looking for a Vice President of Sales, Central Region  – a natural relationship builder and team builder, motivator and challenger, who would support, mentor and lead each sales team member to be successful in meeting their sales goals.

The candidate should be very comfortable with technology and savvy to engage with customers at any level to discuss Kastle’s solution vision and direction, meeting customers’ needs with discussions around technology, solutions and product roadmaps – to provide the air-cover for sales reps in client conversations.

• Manage strategic conversations – company vision, product roadmap, solutions to meet customers’ needs
• This is a customer facing role including travel to customer sites across multiple cities, and states including: Dallas, Houston, Austin, Denver, Nashville, and Chicago
• Manages a sales team of both managers and individual contributors
• Expertly directs and coordinates activities involving the sale of Kastle products and services to the market, with flexibility for different sales techniques in different geographies
• Manages and builds sales pipeline across the Central Region
• Prepares accurate, reliable forecasting reports for executive management
• Works with the marketing function to provide insight into appropriate messaging and types of products and services that can best position Kastle in the marketplace
• Reviews client proposals and works with the Solution Engineering and installation departments to ensure accuracy of scope, pricing, and discount rates
• Confers with potential clients regarding service needs and provide valuable counsel to ensure an appropriate match of services to needs
• Plans and directs sales staff to manage performance, develops skills and ensures individual and team sales targets are met
• Prepares and manages budgets and approves budget expenditures

• Bachelor’s Degree. Graduate degree/MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Sales with at least five years managing a sales team
• Preferred experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) or Multifamily (MF) technology selling experience or a related Property Technology ("Prop Tech") industry
• Expert knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales management systems
• Expert knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications, to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to facilitate business processes
• Experience with Sales Force Automation systems
• High level of competency and proficiency in CRM, customer support / ticketing software, and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Excellent writing and verbal skills. Experience creating detailed technical proposal and implementation plans
• Excellent organizational skills – ability to simultaneously manage multiple opportunities / tracks of follow up meetings/communications
