Main Responsibilities:
Responsible to inspect, measure, and restore out of tolerance conditions on all customer products. This may require use of gaging, hand tools, and air/electric tools.
Maintain general shop cleanliness by adhering to safety, security and cleanliness standards.
Interface and work closely with other colleagues on a daily basis as part of a team.
Must be willing and able to perform all duties in the shop and or on-site at various locations
Repair and verify all areas of the propeller based on using approved procedures.
Capable of learning how to use oxy/acetylene torch equipment for heating and cutting operations.
Perform support activities to ensure successful, repair and modification of propulsion systems.
Operate overhead bridge & jib cranes for moving and positioning equipment and tooling.
Perform detailed measurements using standard and precision measurement tooling such as micrometer, veneers, and various inspection gages.
Accountabilities:
Comply and follow all safety and company policies.
Follow the direction of their Lead and Senior Leads and complete assigned work using tools and blueprints.
Follow company or customer work instructions.
Meet company and customer quality requirements.
Development Responsibilities:
Work as a team member to complete assigned tasks and develop ways to seek continual improvements
Show the ability to be to work on time and consistently.
Experience:
Basic knowledge of hand and air tools
Understanding of basic assembly skills
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds in weight
Must be able to qualify for and maintain a security clearance
Willing to travel as needed
Professional Skills:
Knowledge and skill in using computer software, including Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
Interpersonal and communication skills
Authorities:
Verify and understand the data taken
Education:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
