Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY
The Graduate Assistant (GA) will support administrative tasks, program evaluation, and retention projects within the Department of Transformative Learning. This position plays a key role in fostering student engagement and success through administrative, research, and programmatic support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as data tracking, email communications, appointment coordination, and resource development.
- Assist with student outreach efforts to promote retention and connect students with appropriate services. Examples include: call campaigns, coordinating with the undergraduate staff to make appointment reminder calls, and drafting outreach scripts.
- Support research efforts related to student retention and TL programs/services, including data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Assist in preparing presentations, internal reports, and promotional materials that highlight program impact and student outcomes.
- Attend weekly retention meetings on Fridays 10am-11:30am and contribute to strategic discussions on student success and retention.
- Complete other duties as assigned in support of departmental goals.
All successful candidates must be available in August to training.
