Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Website Implementation Manager in Richmond, Virginia. The Website Implementation Manager is responsible for developing and executing Carter Machinery's website strategies, including the planning, organizing, and managing of marketing functions to achieve the company’s objectives of sales, market share growth, profitability, and visibility in alignment with corporate strategy and business units. The Website Implementation Manager will reclaim majority ownership of the websites from external agencies and oversee the revamp and implementation of the Website refresh/redesign. The individual in this role will work closely with the program teams and identify how to best target individual LOB needs with consideration to overall consistency and optimize web performance, to include email campaigns. Seeking candidates with a bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of web design management, data science, marketing analytics, or equivalent experience, MBA Preferred. Program management experience and ability to be a change agent while managing tight deadlines. Experience with optimizing large Paid Search budgets. Experience with Co-Branding optimizations.

Requirements for the Website Implementation Manager include:

  • Proficient in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics GA4, Wordpress, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of performance optimization tactics, including Paid media, SEO and SEM.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas and build relationships. Able to collaborate with all departments to align marketing strategies with business goals and customer needs.
  • Able to apply independent thought, gather insights to solve problems, and present data-driven information to senior leadership to drive critical business decisions and change.
  • Ensure compliance with Carter Machinery’s and Caterpillar’s brand standards.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve goals.
  • Must be willing to travel, including overnight trips.

Physical requirements must be met for the Website Implementation Manager position. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk or listen. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds in weight. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
