DESCRIPTION:

The primary duty of this position is the responsibility for programming Control systems and assisting other programmers in the standardization of templates. Also responsible for programming work assigned to you, in addition to various responsibilities relative to the Technical Operations division. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret AV systems drawings
  • Perform, Crestron control system programming, implementation, and testing for System Integration client projects
  • Leading programming code reviews as required
  • Contributing to design review and code review as required
  • Leading resolution of field code issues
  • Provide technical support to Project Managers and Installers
  • Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as needed
  • Demonstrate completed system to client
  • Create end-user and programming-related documentation
  • Maintain and update programming code in installed systems
  • Work closely with Technical Operations Manager and Engineering Manager
  • Work with Sales which includes going on site with Account Managers to survey sites as requested and scheduled through your manager
  • Some out of town travel may be required
  • Other duties as required or assigned by company management



POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficient with test and calibration equipment and programing languages
  • Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems
  • Proficient in control system design (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC)
  • Solid communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems
  • Advanced computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization and operations of AV equipment
  • Ability to work and think independently, ensuring to meet deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
  • Understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a Programmer
  • Crestron or AMX Control Programmer Associate or equivalent
  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record
