Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and financial reporting functions. In this key leadership role, you will ensure accurate financial statements, maintain strong internal controls, and drive strategic financial initiatives. Reporting directly to the President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business performance, optimize cost efficiency, and support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee financial operations, including month-end close, accounting processes, and regulatory compliance for the division
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support strategic planning and data-driven decision-making
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analysis, trend reporting, and executive-level commentary
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost control, budgeting, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Direct the preparation and review of annual budgets, financial plans, and long-range forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
• Provide timely financial updates, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, GAAP standards, and company financial policies, while identifying and implementing process improvements
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth
• Participate in business reviews, board presentations, and investor reporting, contributing to key financial and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a divisional or business unit controller role
• Experience in working with or exposure to financial due diligence is a plus
• Proven experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights for senior leadership and stakeholders
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency; experience with INFOR ERP Software Systems (or similar manufacturing/project-based ERP system) is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
