We are seeking an accomplished Senior Hydraulic Engineer specializing in centrifugal pump design, analysis, and optimization with over 20 years of experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and improvement of hydraulic components and systems, supporting high-performance pump solutions across various industrial applications.
Responsibilities
Lead the hydraulic design and development of centrifugal pumps for various services including water, oil & gas, chemical processing, general industrial and mining.
Conduct complex CFD simulations and performance analyses to optimize impeller, volute, diffuser, suction passageway, and inducer
Drive product innovation and continuous improvement in hydraulic efficiency, NPSH performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless product integration and manufacturability.
Conduct validation efforts between hydraulic testing and analysis, including interpretation of results and correlation with design models.
Serve as the technical authority and mentor for junior engineers, offering guidance in design best practices and engineering methodologies.
Prepare and review technical documentation including specifications, reports, test plans, and design reviews.
Support business case development with technical expertise.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, or related discipline.
Minimum 20 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic engineering for centrifugal pumps.
Proficient in CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS CFX, Fluent, STAR-CCM+), pump design software, and 3D CAD systems (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
Deep knowledge of centrifugal pump hydraulics engineering and design; as well as pump testing and performance curves.
Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (API 610, ASME B73.1).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead engineering projects and mentor technical teams.
