Laboratory Research Technician III




Job Summary

Performs a variety of independent laboratory work and experiments such as determining experimental protocols and preparation of specimens and cultures. Prepares reports of findings subsequent to compilation and analyzation. Oversees specimen inventory. Develops documentation for publication; crafts manuscripts and grant proposals.


  • Essential Functions Ability to handle and interact physically with research animals
  • Ability to safely handle needless and sharp surgical instruments
  • Ability to speak and read in English


  • Physical Effort Frequent standing and travelling between laboratories and other sites
  • Lifting laboratory supplies (up to 50lbs)
