We’re looking for an Operations Management AI Validation Specialist for our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is full-time. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.

About the role

The Operations Management AI Validation Specialist will collaborate with our cutting-edge conversational AI agents to validate both the initial setup/configuration and ongoing operational workflows within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software platform. In this dynamic position, the specialist will be guided by the AI agent through best-practice configuration of procurement parameters, warehouse layouts (locations, bins), receiving and put-away rules, inventory and fulfilment profiles, production scheduling, and shipping methods—confirming that user inputs result in correctly built records in the system. Equally, the specialist will test the agent’s ability to answer spontaneous questions, offer contextual guidance based on industry standards, and handle exceptions gracefully. Hands-on exposure to the latest AI technologies will ensure our tools deliver an intuitive, accurate, and efficient path from setup through daily operations, while contributing directly to the evolution of a next-generation, AI-driven ERP experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Domain-Driven Configuration & Validation
  • Lead the AI agent through setup of procurement parameters, warehouse layouts (locations, bins), inventory rules, production planning and execution, and shipping methods.
  • Verify conversational prompts translate into correctly built ERP records and flag any misconfigurations.
  • Execute both common and edge-case scenarios (e.g., advance shipment notices, rush-order scheduling, potency-driven batch sizing) to validate the AI agent’s guided flows and Q&A handling.
• Strategic Operations Partnership
  • Act as the voice of supply-chain and warehouse teams, translating real-world procurement, inventory and production needs into actionable feedback for Aptean’s product team.
  • Help prioritize use cases—such as dynamic order generation based on on-hand material specs or exception workflows (partial receipts, split shipments).
  • Collaborate in sprint reviews with Aptean’s product team to close the feedback loop and validate iterative enhancements.
• Knowledge Transfer & Enablement
  • Create concise “how-to” guides and run demo sessions that showcase ideal AI agent interactions for non-technical first-time ERP users.
  • Coach trainers and early adopters on best practices, ensuring smooth transition from pilot to production deployment.

About You

In-Depth Supply Chain & Warehouse Expertise

• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement best practices, including lead?time analysis, safety?stock calculations, reorder?point determination, and multi?vendor sourcing strategies
• Hands?on experience designing warehouse layouts, defining zone assignments, and configuring bin structures for optimal flow and space utilization
• Understanding of inventory management metrics—tracking turnover rates, aging reports, cycle counts, and on?hand accuracy
• Familiarity with shipping operations: carrier selection, freight?term negotiation, rate shopping, and manifest or label generation
• Insight into production flow impacts on supply?chain planning, including material staging and resource allocation for pilot and full?scale runs

Analytical & Detail-Oriented Mindset

• Exceptional attention to data accuracy—able to spot discrepancies in lead-time setups, bin assignments, and production yield records
• Skilled at designing and executing edge-case test scenarios to stress-test conversational flows

Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication: able to convey precise feedback on AI prompts, configuration prompts, system behaviors, and workflow gaps
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally—liaising effectively between procurement, warehouse, production, shipping, and Aptean’s product stakeholders

Adaptability & Continuous Learning Orientation

• Thrives in rapidly evolving environments—quick to assimilate new system features and conversational enhancements
• Willingness to develop and iterate training materials as the AI agent matures
